The Fujifilm Award for Best Research Performance at Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU) has been presented to Sarah Binte Sulaiman.

The prize is given each year to the graduate in BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Imaging that receives the top result in their research work.

“Sarah is an outstanding student who also won prizes for Best Academic Performance,” said Yvonne Watt, Lecturer in Diagnostic Imaging at GCU.

Speaking about her award, Sarah commented: "I am truly overwhelmed and deeply humbled to be receiving the Fujifilm Award for Best Research Performance.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank Fujifilm UK Medical Systems for sponsoring prizes to students in recognition of their hard work and dedication.

“Although it was a relatively stressful period, I took pleasure in writing my dissertation as my topic was something I am very passionate about.

“My course mates were wonderful, and the radiographers I met during my placements in Glasgow were very welcoming. I am now back in my home country of Singapore and have recently taken up a position at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital."
