The Society and College of Radiographers would like to extend best wishes to all students about to qualify as radiographers.

You'll soon be part of the burgeoning community of radiographers delivering crucial services to patients in the UK and around the world.

Sue Webb, President of the Society, says: "As the President I would like to welcome you to our profession. Radiography is an amazing profession to be in, ever changing and forward moving with role development and new technologies coming into use all the time.

"We are a flexible and pro-active profession and lead the world in developing our roles, pushing the boundaries forward with research.

"90% of patients that come to hospital will encounter radiology in some way, so be proud to be a radiographer, and remember patients are at the centre of all we do.

"I wish you luck and happiness on your journey as a radiographer and hope to meet some of you along the way."
