Help establish current state of MR equipment in the NHS

Published: 15 September 2016 Ezine

The Clinical Imaging Board (CIB) is seeking participants to take part in a survey to gain a better understanding of the current state of MR Equipment in the NHS.

The CIB hopes to:

  • establish current utilisation
  • identify whether existing equipment is fit for purpose
  • understand organisations’ plans for replacement
  • identify areas where procedures are limited due to either equipment or capacity issues.

All responses will be handled sensitively and no information will be released which would directly or indirectly identify an individual organisation.

The names of organisations are requested for data validation and to assess UK coverage only.

Anonymous results and broad conclusions of the survey will be published by the CIB, following on from the successful CT Equipment survey which had a 64% response rate from NHS organisations.

The survey should only take 5-10 minutes to complete.
