If you haven’t yet booked your place at the forthcoming International Radiographer Advanced Practice Conference, don’t delay!

The event, hosted at Sheffield Hallam University and supported by the College of Radiographers, is taking place from 9 -11 September.

If you are an advanced or consultant practitioner (or if you are transitioning or aspire to transition into such roles), radiotherapy or imaging service manager, clinical educator, academic or education commissioner, then this event is a must. ‘Leading the way’ will be the overarching theme.

Some of the other themes to be covered at the conference are:

  • terminology harmonisation
  • international perspectives on advanced practice
  • managing an advanced practice service
  • scope of practice and role creep
  • impact on practice/service
  • advanced practice research

There are also travel scholarship opportunities and special discounted rates for accomodation for delegates hoping to attend.

Visit the event website for more details.

Conference co-ordinator, David Eddy, comments: “We have an exciting blend of keynote lectures, invited speakers, proffered papers and posters, workshops and a conference debate planned to both stimulate and inspire delegates.”
