Leigh Jenkins, Project Manager, NHS Benchmarking Network, reviewed the network and how it works for members in terms of reviewing data collected – in fact, she told delegates, the NHS Benchmarking Network is possibly the world’s largest benchmarking group.

Data is compiled and analysed and then the results are disseminated to participants. Data covers service models, rooms, equipment, waiting times, activities, reporting, workforce, skill mix and much more.

The toolkit, demonstrated for attendees by Senior Information Analyst, Stephen Day, allows you to compare how you are performing, both locally and nationally.

“Radiology is one of the cornerstones of our work programme and our members are at the heart of what we do,” said Leigh, who encouraged delegates to participate in the network in the upcoming year.
