Measuring the patient experience of radiographic procedures to improve the patient pathway

A new grant from the College of Radiographers will give access to funding for researchers carrying out studies in improving the patient pathway.

Research focusing on the following topics will be eligible to apply for funding, courtesy of the College of Radiographers Industry Partnership Scheme (CoRIPS):

  • Identification of patients’ priorities from clinical service - what is important for them
  • Patient partnerships, in relation to improvement of physical, social, psychological and spiritual support
  • Improving patient pathways
  • Patient involvement, to improve patient experience and guide practice
  • Capturing and using patient experience across the age range and across all modalities
  • The patient voice and feedback - quality of care.

A total of three grants are on offer, with a pot of £20,000 in funding available.
