A government consultation looking at tackling the causes of preventable ill health in England is open and SoR members are being urged to respond.
The green paper from the Department of Health and Social Care, Advancing our Health: Prevention in the 2020s, is proposing a series of actions for keeping people healthy and independent for longer.
“We know that our health is shaped by the environment in which we live, the choices we make, and the services we receive”, the consultation says.“
We need to take action on each of these.”
