The abstracts submissions deadline for the National Association of Educators in Practice Conference is 28 January 2019.

The NAEP conference takes place in Birmingham on Friday, 10 May 2019.

The organisers say it is time to rethink some of our traditional approaches to practice-based learning and those who are eager to be involved are urged to submit their abstracts as soon as possible.

Download and complete the abstract submission form (Word) and then go to the 2019 abstract submission webpage.

Outcomes and feedback for submissions will be ready on 12 February.

Registration for the NAEP conference 2019 will open soon on the NAEP UK website shortly.

Themes at the conference will include modifying practice learning to changing service needs, responding to new pathways to qualified practice, and diversity of new generation learners driving change in practice education.

Michele Russel-Westhead, Professor of higher education policy and practice at the London School of Economics and Political Science, is a confirmed speaker at the event.

Michele will share her experiences of developing apprenticeships, specifically new ‘pathways to qualified practice’, and her work to develop government policy focussing on the impact on organisational culture to effectively support the new generation of learners.

The cost of the meeting will be £90 or £50 for pre-registration students.
