NHS pay offer: Information and consultation timetable

Published: 29 March 2018 Ezine

As the details of the government’s pay offer to NHS staff and what it means for the radiography workforce becomes clearer, the SoR will be distributing information to members in April.

Members and reps at the Annual Delegates Conference, to be held at the end of the month, will discuss the proposals followed by a consultation with all members in May.

A supplement providing details of the pay offer will be distributed with the April issues of Synergy News andImaging & Therapy Practice, which will be sent to members later in the month than usual. The information will be also available on sor.org

Preliminary information is available on the joint health union website.

“We will provide members with clear information about what the pay offer means for them,” commented Paul Moloney, the Society’s industrial relations manager.

“It will take a little while for us to get all the details together but we shall do it as quickly as possible. In the meantime, we would recommend that members disregard media speculation and reports about the pay offer. Much of the reporting to date has been inaccurate and simplistic and does not provide the whole picture,” Paul continued.
