The 2018 Society of Radiographers Rep of the Year competition is now open!
The Society is looking for nominations for the rep in your workplace who is just that bit special. Someone who goes the 'extra mile' for their colleagues. The conscientious individual who is always trying to do the best for the SoR members in the department.
How to make a nomination
You can start completing the nomination form, save it and go back to it again as many times as you like before finally submitting it for consideration by your regional committee/national council.
Nominations MUST be made by Friday, 9 February 2018 to be eligible for consideration.
Only members of the Society of Radiographers can nominate a rep. The rep must also be an accredited Society representative – industrial relations, union learning, or health and safety.
You do not need permission from your nominated rep before you nominate them!
Choosing the winner
Regional/national winners are chosen from the nominations received and then a panel of judges (which includes the Society’s President and representative of the award sponsors, Howard Kennedy) choose an overall UK winner.
All winners are presented with their awards and prizes at the Annual Delegates Conference.
Prizes
The winner of the SoR UK Rep of the Year 2018 will receive £250 and a certificate. Each of the regional/national winners will receive £100 and a certificate.
