Pledge posters focus on the importance of patient voice

A series of pledge posters have been created to put into practice the strategic priorities for the Society and College of Radiographers to ‘ensure the patient voice is integral’ and to ‘be informed by the voice of the patient.’

Created by the SCoR Patient Advisory Group (PAG), the posters sit alongside the recent publication of Patient Public and Practitioner Partnerships within Imaging and Radiotherapy: Guiding Principles.

Two of the posters in the series illustrate the principles behind patient, public and practitioner partnerships, defining what patients can expect from a radiographer and highlighting what radiographers need in return to deliver high-quality care that is right first time.

The third and final poster of the series is an invitation for patients to get involved with the SCoR PAG to help shape the future of radiographic practice.

They emphasise the Society’s commitment to support the radiographic workforce to put the patient voice at the centre of education, research, service development and service delivery.

The posters are available free of charge to download in the Policy and Document Library

They are intended for display in public areas, helping to bring to life the NHS Long Term Plan to involve patients in decisions about the future of health and care services.
