Recent Advances in Obstetric Ultrasound - 29 November, The Royal Society, London
This event will provide students with an interest in obstetric ultrasound with a comprehensive update on recent developments in the field, as well as offering opportunities for discussion with expert speakers and peers.
Annual Radiotherapy Conference - 26-28 January, Hilton Newcastle Gateshead
This multi-day event brings together therapeutic radiographers from across a range of service areas for learning, networking and sharing of best practice. A lively exhibition runs alongside the conference, giving attendees the opportunity to catch up on the latest industry developments.
The New UK Radiation Regulations 2018 - 8 March, Holiday Inn Camden Lock
This conference will provide students with a comprehensive update on the changes (IRR17 and IRMER18) and how these will impact on clinical practice. Attendees will leave with an understanding of what they need to do to ensure compliance, both on a personal level and as part of their departmental procedures.
Delivering Patient-Centred Compassionate Care - 22 May 2018, Jurys Inn Birmingham
This event will consider what we have learned since the Francis Report into the failings at Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust. The report highlighted 'appalling suffering', and whilst not directed at radiographers, we are compelled as healthcare professionals and as human beings to do better.
