To assist members in forming an opinion and to decide whether to vote ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ on 23 June 2016, the Society has compiled fact sheets to provide background information and further reading.
Sheila Hassan, SCoR President said: “The Society does not intend to campaign for either side in the debate because UK Council believes any decision must be left to individual choice.
“It is important that members read as much as possible about the pros and cons of EU membership so that they can make an informed decision.”
“As we move nearer to the vote, we will provide further information and, where necessary, a balanced view on statements from either camp,” commented Warren Town, the Director of Industrial Strategy.
