Therapeutic radiographers: Have your voice heard!

Published: 13 March 2019 Ezine

In partnership with the University of Plymouth, Terri Barnes is currently recruiting therapeutic radiographers to part take in a research study.

Titled ‘What are the views of therapeutic radiographers in relation to linear accelerator based, Image Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT) training content and delivery?’, the project has three objectives:

  1. To engage expert therapeutic radiographers in discussion about IGRT training content and delivery.
  2. To identify main themes, ideas and to gain consensus on the importance of each area highlighted.
  3. To report a concise list of recommendations for key elements of IGRT training nationally.

If you are working within a radiotherapy centre in the UK, are equivalent to a Band 5 or higher, are HCPC registered, and have at least one years’ experience out of the preceptorship period, you can help.

Contact Terri directly if you would like further information on the project, or follow this link to take part in the online questionnaire.

This Study is the responsibility of the independent researcher and is not the work of the SCoR.
