Therapeutic radiographers needed for prostate cancer guideline development

NICE is seeking committee members to work with its update team to develop a new prostate cancer clinical guideline.

The committee will be responsible for updating the recommendations in NICE guideline CG175 Prostate cancer: diagnosis and management.

NICE is looking for practicing healthcare professionals with current experience in the diagnosis and management of prostate cancer, including therapeutic radiographers, in the following specialist areas:

  • a pathologist with a special interest in prostate or urological cancers
  • 2 specialist nurses with a special interest in prostate or urological cancers (PLEASE NOTE: The SCoR has confirmed with NICE that this includes therapeutic radiographers)
  • a GP
  • a commissioner
