The Chief Sustainability Officer's Clinical Fellow Scheme is for radiographers and other AHPs to drive sustainability in order to positively impact the NHS green agenda and develop leadership skills.

Climate change threatens the foundations of good health, yet the NHS contributes 4.6 per cent of UK carbon emissions. In October 2020, NHS England and NHS Improvement published ‘Delivering a Net Zero Health Service’ which sets targets for the NHS to reach net zero by 2040 and by 2045 for its wider supply chain. Clinical leadership is needed to drive this agenda across the health and care sector.

The Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management (FMLM)will be delivering the scheme in partnership with NHS England and NHS Improvement. The scheme is open to AHPs who meet essential eligibility requirements.

Applications close on 24 May 2021.
