The RCR Clinical Radiology Faculty is inviting comments on the draft guidance 'Recommendations on Alerts and Notification of Imaging Reports'
This guidance has been developed in collaboration with a number of Royal Colleges and professional bodies in response to the Health Safety Investigation Branch report into Failures of communication or follow up of unexpected significant radiological findings.

A Society spokesperosn said: "The SoR has been part of the working party for this critical work. We encourage members to read the proposals and send their feedback for consideration by the working party. The guidance will become the standard against which organisations are measured with an expectation that it will be adopted. Members are encouraged to take the opportunity to influence and inform the work before it is signed off."
