Manager? Stressed? Nervous headache? Struggling to design a shift rota?

Then come along to an ‘open house’ afternoon in Leeds city centre to meet a departmental manager and union rep who designed and implemented a shift rota that is now operating successfully for both staff and management.

The event is open to managers from any region who are redesigning systems of work to move away from on-call towards a 24/7 system.

Held at the Cosmopolitan Hotel, Leeds, on Wednesday 10 October, the session will run from 1pm until 4pm. *Please note that this date is now fully booked and a second date has been added for 25 October.

You will be able to look at real rotas and get tips from people who’ve made it work to everyone’s satisfaction.

The team from Hull Royal, Debbie Cook and Leila Sewell, and Regional Officer Helen Wickham, will help you get fresh ideas and a different perspective on how to structure a shift pattern, including how to incorporate part-timers, develop flexibility and swapping of shifts, and generally keep staff happy.

If moving towards shift working is your worst nightmare, sign up now for this free event hosted by Yorkshire & North Trent Region.

The Cosmopolitan Hotel  is five minutes from the train station and two minutes from multi-storey parking.

Light refreshments will be served on arrival and there will be plenty of time for networking and Q&As.

Please confirm your attendance to Nicolah@sor.org putting 'Leeds Managers Open House' in the subject line.
