Applications are now being accepted for the 2020 Nurse and Allied Health Professionals Internship Programme.
Sponsored by Versus Arthritis, the eight-week placement is for final year students and recent graduates who have an interest in clinical research into the personal impact of arthritis and musculoskeletal diseases.
Led by Professor Cathy Bowen with Mary Fry, programme manager, both from the University of Southampton, the initiative includes UK-wide study days, networking and ongoing mentoring.
It will run full time from 6 July until 28 August. There are eight placements hosted at one of seven institutions: Keele University, Glasgow Caledonian, and the Universities of Leeds, Southampton, Salford, Oxford, and the West of England.
