Published: 22 January 2020 HCPC to review radiographer proficiency standards

The Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC) are reviewing the standards of proficiency for each of the regulated professions.

Drafts have been created with input from the SCoR and the Diagnostic Imaging Advisory Group and the Radiotherapy Advisory Group.

It is expected there will be a public consultation for the radiographer standards from April to June. The HCPC will analyse the feedback and produce a final set of new proficiency standards.

The Society will advise members further when the consultation is confirmed and how to participate.
