Have you been thinking of writing a case study to celebrate excellence or promote best practice in your trust?

The Council for Allied Health Professions Research (CAHPR) have released their top 10 tips to help healthcare professionals write and share an award-winning case study.

Case studies are a “great opportunity for allied health professionals to profile improvement work, often to a wider audience, and support wider adoption of evidence-based care,” the CAHPR says.

Advice offered includes choosing a good title, demonstrating patient and public involvement, knowing your audience and sharing it widely.

“Your title should be short, understandable and grab your readers’ attention,” tip three states.

“Think about who will be reading your case study and keep this audience in mind while writing it, including their strategic priorities.”
