The frequently asked questionssection of the SoR Covid-19 ultrasound information has been updated.
New PPE guidance in line with PHE and RCR/SCoR publications has been added, alongside updated links and further resources.
There is also new guidance about personal items within the ultrasound scan room, RCOG guidance to rationalise early pregnancy services, and wellbeing, emotional and mental health resources.
“In these challenging times, the SCoR and BMUS realise that sonographers are having to deal with managing the demands of providing a high-quality service whilst protecting staff and patients, possibly with limited staffing and concerned patients,” the introduction says.
“This frequently asked questions document aims to help provide answers, where possible, or guide sonographers to relevant sources of current information.”
