The College of Radiographers is the charitable subsidiary of the Society of Radiographers, the trade union and professional body for the radiographic workforce and associated professionals in the UK.

The College of Radiographers’ Board of Trustees has a vacancy for a trustee. The Board is keen to fill this vacancy with a Radiographer from the Higher Education sector with a strong interest in the continuing development of radiography.

The term of office is a maximum of 5 years with the option to stand for a second 5 year term. There are four standard meetings during the year, as well as two training days. There is also an expectation that Trustees will represent the College on other committees.

Applicants should demonstrate a willingness to contribute to the governance of the College of Radiographers bringing your own perspective and expertise to bear at this time of rapid change and challenge in the broad fields of imaging and oncology. Candidates should be experienced leaders and innovators within education in imaging or oncology.

This is a voluntary position with no formal remuneration, although expenses are paid for all duties associated with the position. Meetings are generally held at the Society’s head office at 207 Providence Square, Mill Street, London SE1 2EW although are currently being held by videoconference.
