ISAS will have strong presence at UKIO

‘Lessons Learned from an Individual Service to a Network Approach’ is the title of the Imaging Services Accreditation Scheme (ISAS) sessions at this year’s UK Imaging & Oncology Congress (10-12 June, Liverpool).

Each one will feature the following presentations: 

  • Dorset Vanguard – how standardisation and working together through the ISAS journey has been accomplished to date. Four separate NHS trusts have come together to work towards ISAS accreditation, there will be a question and answer session for those looking to work as a network.
     
  • Successful Accreditation at a Large University Hospital - Nottingham is a large acute and specialist university hospital providing service to a population of 2.5 million. Gaining accreditation over a wide range of specialist imaging services has been overseen by Chantel Brooks, who will talk through the high and lows of such an endeavour.

Taking place in room 5 at the UKIO 2019 congress in meeting room 5 on Tuesday, 11 June, the sessions will also provide an overview of the Scheme to date and what the future holds. They will take place at 10.15am, 11.30, and 2.15pm.

Education on the Stand
ISAS will also be holding Education on the Stand sessions on the CoR stand (A17) on Monday the 10th and Wednesday the 12th of June.

‘The Imaging Standard and the Process to Accreditation’ will include presentations by the ISAS Officer, Chris Woodgate, and UKAS, who will explain the Standard and how imaging services achieve accreditation.

The Education on the Stand sessions are CPD Now accredited and will take place on:

Monday - 9am, 10am, 11am, 12pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm, 3.30pm, 4.30pm

Wednesday - 9am, 10am, 11am and 12pm
