A new e-Learning for Healthcare programme has been launched.
Embedding public health into clinical services, provides guidance for leaders and service managers to re-design services to support prevention as well as treatment.
“There has been a growing interest in public health by health and care professionals, and the policy framework is placing increasing priority on prevention,” the introduction says.
“Designed as a 5-step process, the programme provides a practical toolkit of useful resources to help individuals and multidisciplinary teams identify their unique contribution to implement quality improvement initiatives to transform services.”
Health Education England has worked in partnership with Public Health England, NHS England, and NHS Improvement to develop the practical toolkit.
