Regions across the UK are set to benefit from study days hosted by the Society of Radiographers over the next few months.
These study days offer continuing professional development and networking for SoR members within those regions.
Events will be taking place in the South East, London, Scotland and Northern Ireland regions from September, throughout October and November.
Rachel Nolan, president of the SoR, said: “Study days are an important part of continuous professional development for radiographers, providing dedicated time away from routine clinical duties to enhance knowledge, skills, and professional competence.
“With advancements in imaging technology, artificial intelligence, radiation safety, and evolving clinical guidelines, study days help ensure that radiographers remain current with best practice and are equipped to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.”
These events support regulatory and professional requirements for ongoing learning, help radiographers maintain registration, demonstrate competence, and contribute effectively to service improvement, Rachel added.
She continued: “Study days offer opportunities to share experiences, learn from experts, network with colleagues, and gain insight into innovations being implemented across the wider healthcare community. New knowledge and ideas can be brought back into the workplace, helping to drive service development, improve patient outcomes, and promote a culture of lifelong learning within their teams.”
