The BIR is publishing a series of safety case studies developed by the MR SIG and the BAMRR safety resources leaflets to mark MRI Safety Week (27-31 July).
A new case study detailing an MRI safety event and a leaflet will be published on the BIR website each day for the duration of the week.
Also available are the safety advice sheets published during last year's safety week and which include information about active implants, cardiac pacemakers, cochlear implants, neuro-stimulators, and deep brain stimulators. There are also a series of advice sheets available from 2018.
