Published: 29 November 2021 MRI

Health Education England’s elearning for healthcare has worked with key organisations to develop a CPD programme on MRI safety.

Structured around the needs of specific MR safety roles, this programme explores the hazards associated with the use of MRI equipment and offers guidance on best practice to protect patients and staff.

There are five courses, each linked to a different MR safety role as described in the MHRA guidelines for MRI safety: MR authorised person (non-MR environment); MR authorised person (MR environment); MR authorised person (supervisor); MRI clinicians; and referrers.

On finishing the programme, learners will be able to download a certificate of completion and a record of their activity to add to their CPD portfolio.
