Radiographer receives PhD from City, University of London

3 April, 2018

Dr Ricardo Khine (pictured on the left), a therapeutic radiographer, was awarded his PhD from City, University of London, for his thesis titled ‘The professional and organisational impact of the consultant therapeutic radiographer: a case study’.

Ric, as most people know him, is a senior lecturer and has recently been appointed divisional lead for the Division of Midwifery and Radiography, a role which will involve many of the skills that he developed during his PhD research.

He is following in the footsteps of another therapeutic radiographer, Dr Dave Flinton (pictured on the right with Ric), who has taken up the post of associate dean education (quality and experience) in the School of Health Sciences at City, University of London.

Ric’s PhD will help to inform the profession on future role developments that could be relevant to members wanting to progress in their careers and improve services for patients.
