Macmillan Cancer Support are taking applications for a Therapeutic Radiographer Clinical Fellow.
The advertisement for the role says, "During this two day a week secondment, you will build on the work of previous Health Education England (HEE) allied health professional fellows by leading on promotion and awareness-raising of the diversity of therapeutic radiographer roles.
"You will support and deliver educational outreach activities to foundation and undergraduate degree students. In addition, you will collate intelligence on Macmillan’s therapeutic radiographer roles and advise and support the impact of these roles to patient care."
Macmillan are looking for "a motivated and driven individual with evidence of management and clinical leadership experience and previous involvement in education/training. You will need excellent organisational skills alongside IT skills and an awareness of the role social media can play in reaching young people. You will need to be able to work with a variety of stakeholders and build and sustain networks and professional relationships."
Closing date for applications is 16 February. The secondment is a collaboration between Macmillan, HEE, and the SCoR. The successful applicant will be part of Macmillan’s chief medical officer’s team.
