The SoR’s internationally renowned journal Radiography is seeking new expert reviewers to join the team.

Launched in 1995, Radiography is the leading peer-reviewed journal dedicated to improving the fields of clinical imaging and radiotherapy practice.

The journal’s editorial team is currently looking to expand its team of reviewers across all specialties, but also with a particular focus on three key areas - nuclear medicine, ultrasound and radiotherapy.

Editor-in-chief of Radiography, Professor Jonathan McNulty, said: "As Radiographycontinues to grow, so does the need for the continued support of the reviewers who aid the editorial team in making sure that the content published in the journal is of the highest quality.

“Our expert reviewers, from all corners of the world, completed about 1,600 reviews in 2025. These essential contributions made by the hundreds of reviewers who give their time and share their expertise support both the journal and our authors with feedback to enhance the quality of what we go on to publish.”

Anyone interested in reviewing for Radiography is asked to provide a short email outlining their reason for wanting to become a reviewer and previous reviewing experience, as well as a current CV.

Professor McNulty added: “We are always looking to expand our international pool of reviewers across all areas of expertise, but we are now particularly seeking to expand our pool in the areas of nuclear medicine, ultrasound, and radiotherapy.

“Clinicians, educators, and researchers are all welcome. I would invite anybody interested to also read my recent Editorial on our Outstanding Reviewers for 2025."

Any interested candidates should contact publisher Dawn Aggett via [email protected]. All expressions of interest will be reviewed by the editors to ensure suitability and alignment with the journal’s reviewer requirements.
