Enhanced level practice and practitioners make a significant and essential contribution to patient care and clinical services. To support the current and future healthcare workforce, Health Education England have published An employer’s guide to the enhanced clinical practitioner apprenticeship which is available online
The guide provides a definition of enhanced level practice and outlines the benefits of the enhanced level apprenticeship to the workforce, employers and patients. It advises employers of key considerations and who is eligible to take part in an enhanced practice apprenticeship.
