Webinar to discuss SoR progress on becoming an anti-racist organisation

The strategic update will include senior leadership and the Challenge Consultancy

On 17 May from 7pm - 8.30pm the Society of Radiographers (SoR) is hosting EDI Matters: An Update to discuss its progress since committing to become an anti-racist organisation with an inclusive and diverse community, that values and supports all members. 

The facilitated discussion will include Richard Evans, SoR Chief Executive, Dean Rogers, SoR Director of Industrial Relations & Member Engagement and Peter Higgs, SoR National Equalities Officer. 
 
The strategic update will look at the Society’s progress since it made a commitment to become an anti-racist organisation and introduce Anita Jakhu and Adisa Djan from the Challenge Consultancy who are leading the SCoR’s EDI audit.

Anita Jakhu, Associate Trainer and Consultant, whose specialism is in unconscious bias, works with senior management teams, department leads, board members and front line staff by providing training programmes and reviewing current practice. 

Adisa Djan, Trainer and Consultant, has experience in equality and diversity which spans public, private and voluntary sector organisations and has worked in penal reform and racial equality.
