The latest edition of Synergy is now available for SoR members.

The June 2026 edition of Synergy features reports from attendees to the Annual Delegates Conference and the National Conference of Radiology Leaders, where members heard about the strategic direction of the Society and how to lead effectively as a radiographer.

Members can also read about Tamer Ganem’s experience of life in Gaza as a radiographer since the start of the war, and the awful conditions healthcare workers are facing there. This month’s Synergy also features Therapeutic Radiographer Sabina Khan, who recently won an award for her pioneering head and neck radiotherapy late effects clinic in London.

Attendees from this years’ flagship ASMIRT event in Australia, meanwhile, recall this year’s stacked programme.

Elsewhere, the team at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust has recently undertaken the major step of introducing contrast-enhanced mammography. Synergy paid the South Lancashire Breast Screening Unit a visit to find out more about this novel technology.

Highlights this month:

  • A radiographer working in Gaza reflects on life since the start of the war
  • Radiography from the other side of the world: Australia’s ASMIRT event
