The Bournemouth event, which incorporates the 2020 annual conference that was cancelled due to Covid-19, will explore the impact of Brexit and the 2013 EURATOM Basic Safety Standards.
The conference is set to run from 15-18 March 2021 and the society is particularly seeking abstracts for oral presentations on techniques and challenges within radiological protection, which should be entered by Friday 30 October 2020.
The Young Professionals Award will also be held at the conference and is open to those in the first ten years of their career. The prize for the best eight-minute presentation is £500 and an all-expenses paid trip to the IRPA European Congress. The deadline is also 30 October.
