Two leaders sought for six-month contracts to implement recommendations

Published: 30 November 2020 Radiotherapy

The Society of Radiographers (SoR) are looking to recruit two Radiotherapy RePAIR Champions on a part-time six-month contract.

Our Radiotherapy RePAIR Champions will play a key role in mapping and implementing the recommendations made in the Reducing Pre-registration Attrition and Improving Retention (RePAIR) programme. They will do this through the eleven England Radiotherapy Operational Delivery Networks, identifying good practice, seeking out opportunities and identifying challenges together with our key stakeholders.

Champions will seek to understand the relevance of the findings from RePAIR to the new models of pre-registration education and training that are being implemented in Therapeutic Radiography, in particular with reference to innovation required because of the impact of COVID-19. Together with our partners, champions will develop an online sustainable resource to support the implementation of RePAIR recommendations.
