Members of the SoR in Northern Ireland and the Midlands regions will this week be able to participate in ballots for seats on UK Council.
From 16 April, eligible members will receive an envelope explaining how to vote for the relevant representative seats.
Nominations for UK Council positions have now closed, with two candidates in the running for the Northern Ireland seat and three candidates for the Midlands representative role.
Elected representatives serve for a minimum term of three years, advocating for member interests at the highest level of the SoR.
Information on candidates, including their election statements, will arrive via mail from Civica Election Services.
Richard Evans, CEO of the SoR, said: “UK Council is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the SoR to ensure that we remain strong and united, with the profession well prepared to meet future challenges and embrace new opportunities.
“As a member, I encourage you to participate in this important democratic process by voting. It is your opportunity to select the individual that you think has the capabilities to join our national governing body.”
Members are encouraged to read these statements carefully, make their selections, and return the completed ballot paper by noon on Friday, 22 May.
