Nominations open for Rep of the Year

Entries close at noon on 29 April 2022.

Published: 28 March 2022 SoR

The Rep of the Year awards celebrate conscientious individuals who represent SoR members in the workplace. If you have an accredited workplace representative who goes that extra mile for their colleagues, why not nominate them for this award?

The awards were not held in 2021 due to the pandemic, which makes it doubly important to enter this time around!

The previous overall winner was Anna Langford (pictured below), who was honoured as UK and Eastern Region Rep of the Year 2020.

Nominations

To make a nomination, please complete the online form which, once submitted, will go to your regional committee or national council for consideration.

Only members of the Society of Radiographers can nominate a rep and please note that the nominated rep must be an accredited Society representative working in the fields of industrial relations, learning or health and safety.

The deadline for nominations is noon on Friday 29 April.

Selection process

Regional and national committees will select regional and national winners from the nominations received. A panel of judges (including the Society’s President, Claire Donaldson) will then choose an overall UK winner.

All winners will be presented with their awards at a special summer ceremony.

Prizes

The winner of the SoR UK Rep of the Year 2022 will receive £250 and a certificate, while each of the regional/national winners will receive £100 and a certificate.
