Episode three of the Student Radiographer Podcast has been released, with this episode focusing on essay writing for student radiographers.
The Student Radiographer Podcast is hosted by third-year diagnostic radiography student Rebekah Vyce, third-year therapeutic radiography student Connor Parish, and second-year diagnostic radiography degree apprentice Alice Denslow.
In episode three, Ms. Vyce and Ms. Densolow discuss academic writing and radiography assignments in detail.
Focusing on essay writing, the pair go over different ways of approaching the task, how to stay engaged, how to overcome common barriers and concerns and how to ‘action’ the advice given by lecturers.
They also share some top tips sent in by listeners and answer questions submitted by students on essay writing.
Episode three can be listened to on Spotify, Apple Music and Soundcloud. Members can find more information online on Instagram, X, Threads and Webpage.
The hosts emphasised: "Essays – love them, loathe them, or just ambivalent - you can’t escape them on this student radiographer journey."
The Student Radiographer Podcast (TSRP), produced as part of the SoR Student Network by students, for students, aims to inform, empower, equip, encourage and give voice to student radiographers.
Its first episode launched earlier this year (23 September), with hosts seeking to support the wellbeing of listeners and provide all the tips and tricks they need to make the journey to the start of their careers.
