Support workers in radiography have been invited to respond to a national survey ahead of AHP Support Worker Awareness Week (26-30 October).
The AHP Professional Body and Trade Union Support Worker Group is inviting support workers from across the UK to help inform future priorities for workforce support, education and career development across the AHP professions.
Providing experiences and insights helps professional bodies and trade unions better understand the opportunities, challenges and development needs of the AHP support workforce.
'Make sure your voice is heard'
Sophie Pearce, SoR rep and founder of the Support Worker Special Interest Group, said: “I am proud to say that a large number of our support worker colleagues have already responded to this survey in its first few days. They have chosen to have their voices heard at a national level.
“We need more of that; we need to be so loud that the people in charge have no choice but to listen. I urge anyone who hasn’t already done so to join their local union and to take part in this survey. Make sure your voice is heard.”
The survey is supported by AHP professional bodies and trade union Unison and is being conducted by King’s College London.
