The new e-Learning for Healthcare (e-LfH) programme in breast imaging was due to be formally launched this autumn but because training has been suspended or disrupted during the pandemic, the National Breast Imaging Academy (NBIA) has decided to make all completed sessions available immediately.

Approximately 50 sessions are now complete.

NBIA is also planning to develop more online resources to complement the e-learning sessions to support assistant practitioners, radiographers, radiologists and breast clinicians in training, as well as qualified staff looking for CPD resources.

These will take the form of recorded lectures/tutorials, live webinars/image evaluation/case viewing sessions and some written material.

Can you help with this? NBIA is especially keen to hear from those who have a presentation/talk already prepared and a little bit of spare capacity at the moment to deliver it as a recorded or live teaching session.

The Academy team can provide support for recording sessions and delivering webinars. Topics are flexible and but anything you can offer that is of interest to breast imagers will be very gratefully received.

Please contact the Academy if you can help.
