Rep of the Year awards

The annual Society of Radiographers’ Rep of the Year awards recognise outstanding accredited SoR representatives. The aim of the awards is to reward reps who go the ‘extra mile’ for their colleagues; the conscientious individuals who are always trying to do their best for the SoR members in the department.

SoR members making a nomination for the Rep of the Year are also nominating their choice for a regional/country award. From the nominations received, the region/country committee or council will choose a regional/country winner which they will forward to SoR headquarters as the regional/country nominee for SoR Rep of the Year.

Any member of the Society of Radiographers can nominate a rep, as long as the rep is:

  • An accredited Society representative - industrial relations, union learning, or health and safety;
  • The rep has agreed to be nominated;
  • And they can attend the Annual Delegates Conference.

Nominations are submitted to your regional committee/national council. Each regional committee/national council will choose a regional/national winner from the nominations received.

A panel of judges (which includes the Society’s President and representative of the award sponsors) will choose a UK winner from the nominees forwarded by the regional committees and national councils.

The winners are presented with their awards and prizes at the Annual Delegates Conference.
