The Allied Health Professionals’ Workforce Training and Education team at NHS England has put out a call for AHP-led neighbourhood health initiatives with case study examples.
These case studies should highlight the leadership and impacts of Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) in initiatives across the NHS.
Submissions should help demonstrate how AHPs are driving transformation in place-based care, improving population health, and enabling integrated working across systems.
Any case studies that feature AHPs in leadership roles will be considered, whether clinical, strategic, or operational, including specific reference to inclusion of Advanced Practice roles.
Case studies can be based in neighbourhood or place-based settings; can demonstrate impact on population health, service redesign, or workforce transformation; can include collaboration across sectors (e.g. voluntary, primary care, social care, schools); and can reflect learning and innovation for others to adopt.
Submitting case studies to this call will help NHS England to:

“Please do share your innovations to ensure the vital role that the radiography and sonography workforces have in supporting innovation, and in delivering change to improve outcomes for patients.”
