Helping you to prepare for your studies and life after graduating
Adding to our growing student events calendar and resources, the Student Series made its debut in March 2022.
The series of monthly events aims to deliver flexible content, scheduled around significant points of the academic year. A variation of live webinars and listening events, led by our Students and New professionals officer and the SoR Student Forum, we take an informal and interactive look at preparing for examinations, dissertations, and much more. The calendar will be punctuated by wellbeing sessions to take your mind off those busier times, and will include opportunities to build professional skills in the workplace. All student members welcome!

Upcoming session:
Challenging unwanted behaviours in the workplace
Monday 15 May at 19:00-20:00
Have you ever witnessed or experienced unfair or unwanted behaviours in the workplace? Would you know how to respond to these if you did?
Clinical placement can often be a demanding time in your studies, but it should also be an exciting, rewarding and safe place to develop your skills. Your learning experience is an important part of your radiography journey, so join us as we help you to identify and safely challenge discrimination, bullying and harassment.
Our panel will provide an overview of employee rights and policies surrounding unacceptable behaviours, and talk you through reporting pathways as well as the support available from your trade union. As always we will allow time for your questions and provide further signposting at the end of the session.
You can watch all recorded content from our ongoing Student Series and the Student Welcome Month that took place in October 2021 here.
